Dr. Essa Al Bastaki, president of University of Dubai (UD) presented today at the International Education Show in Al Sharjah a seminar to more than 100 students from various schools in UAE. Many counselors and teachers attended the seminar titled ìSmart cities.î Dr. Al Bastaki focused in his presentation on the elements needed to build smart cities around the country. He explained the importance of education, governments and businesses in advancing smart cities projects. Al Bastaki also talked about leadership and the role of the UAE rulers in supporting smart governments, smart students and smart cities.
