UD Won 2nd Place at DEWA Conservation Award Ceremony

DSC_0400 DSC_0479 DSC_0481 University of Dubai won the 2nd place during the 10th Conservation Award 2014-2015 organized by DEWA at Grand Hyatt hotel in Dubai, on 20th May 2015. This award, Conservation Award – For A Better Tomorrow, is an integral part of DEWAís strategic initiative to combat global warming and climate change, in partnership with KHDA. The award established in line with Dubaiís commitment to environment sustainability. Itís ëhigh-value recognition presented to educational institutions in Dubai, for best practices in electricity and water consumption and usage. The Memento† and AED 8000 received by Dr. Eesa Al Bastaki, President of the University of Dubai, and† the ceremony was attended by Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA.
