University of Dubai ñ Accounting Students Visit the Dubai Financial Market (DFM), World Trade Center, Dubai, May 2, 2016 On May 2, 2016, with the initiative of the CBA Accounting Faculty George D. Kambouris, and with coordination with Dubai Financial Market staff, 27 1st year students from the courses Principles of Financial Accounting and Principles of Managerial Accounting participated in the presentation of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) held at the World Trade Center, Dubai.
The presentation was made by Ms. Hanan Al Habashi. The topics of the presentation included the Dubai Financial Market, trading transparency, stock trading, valuable financial information relating to the 2016 DFM stock competition, trading tips, technical analysis of stocks available to investors and other valuable information. DFM – ACFE Middle East Fraud Conference 2016 (Source DFM) ìDubai Financial Market (DFM) has successfully participated in the Middle East Fraud Conference hosted by the Financial Audit Department of Dubai Government on 14 and 15 February 2016 in cooperation with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). The conference was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Financial Audit Departmentî. For our visit to DFM we would like to thank Ms. Hanan Al Habashi for her excellent presentation. We would also like to thank Mr. Jamal Ibrahim Al Khadhar, Executive Vice President-Division Head, HR Strategic Planning, for his support since our prior visit on December 7, 2015.
