The University of Dubai (UD) held an ìOpen Discussionî on November 16th, 2016 to promote reading and disseminate the culture of reading among its students, staff and faculty members. A brief presentation was delivered by UDís Chief Librarian Ali Amour who discussed the significance of encouraging UD students to read and expand the scope of their knowledge. The meeting, which came in response to the ìYear of Reading 2016î initiative, was attended by UD staff and faculty members who participated in the discussion by throwing creative ideas.
