The Department of Student Services at the University of Dubai (DSS) launched on January 5th, 2017, the Spring semester with a New Student Orientation event called ìBidayat.î The event marks the beginning of the freshmenís intellectual and academic journey at UD. During the campus tour, new students were briefed on UDís lifestyle, colleges, professors, departments, student clubs, events and activities. Furthermore, department representatives and deans delivered informative presentations about their duties and responsibilities toward students. At the end of the event, DSS organized several entertaining activities and ice breakers followed by a Treasure Hunt Game and a lunch break.
