On February 21st, 2017, the University of Dubai (UD) students visited 2017 Nobel Museum in Dubai, which was launched by the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation (MBRF) in association with the Nobel Museum in Sweden. The main theme of this yearís museum is “The Nobel Prize in Physics: Understanding Matter”, presenting the significant contributions of Nobel Laureates in the field of physics. Students had the opportunity to see how Nobel prize laureates transformed the world and improved peoplesí lives through scientific discoveries. Among the numerous items displayed, students particularly found interesting the smart boards which enable visitors to create and manipulate atoms, dissect and analyze human or animal bodies, dig into the world of quantum physics, and immerse into solar system using virtual reality.
