In cooperation with the University of Dubai (UD), Dubai Customs held a ìGraduation Ceremonyî for the 3rd batch of its ìLeadership Developmentî program and celebrated the graduatesí success by distributing awards and certificates. The ceremony was attended by UD President Dr. Eesa Al Bastaki, Director of Dubai Customs Mr. Ahmed Mahboob Musabah, along with a number of managers, staff, faculty members, alumni, and students from UD. This program was initiated and prepared by Dubai Customs in partnership with UD to embody the vision of the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who highlighted the need to prepare successful future leaders and innovators. During his speech at the ceremony, Dr. Al Bastaki stated: ìEducation is the basic element for establishing modern leadership institutions and taking leadership into a higher level. Therefore, we at UD, are proudly building a mutual relationship with Dubai Customs, which is one of the most significant government agencies, seeking to professionally develop the skills of our students and future leaders.î He also praised the program which plays a significant role in preparing future generations, encourages creative thinking, and ensures the socio-economic welfare. Mr. Musabah also congratulated the graduates by saying: ìYou are the future leaders who are taking today the responsibility of maintaining progress, innovation and effective leadership at all levels. We are looking forward to witnessing a bright future geared by successful and brilliant leaders, directors, and managers like you.î
