The Student and Alumni Affairs (SAA) unit at University of Dubai hosted the Student Life Awards ceremony last Thursday, November 6th 2014 at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce. More than 60 students were awarded for their commitment and outstanding contribution to the university’s community. The SAA also awarded 5 companies for their sponsorship and social responsibilities toward the university and its students. At the end of the Ceremony, Dr. Geoffrey Gachino, Dean of the Business College, distributed honorary certificates to the students while Dr. Said Selim, assistant to UD president, distributed several certificates to honor UD sponsors. During the Ceremony, Ms. Amina Al Marzak, manager of Students and Alumni Affairs thanked the students for their proactive involvement in extracurricular activities, campus life engagement and their valuable contribution to the University of Dubai during the Academic Year 2013-2014. She also urged sponsors to continue their support for UD activities and events.
