UD President Visits the New Campus

10500526_10152559519419372_3595835445309691659_n Dr. Essa Al Bastaki, president of University of Dubai, visited the construction site of the new campus at the Academic City in Dubai. The visit took place yesterday on November 25, 2014. Dr. Al Bastaki checked work progress and commended the workers, engineers, and managers for meeting the scheduled time frames for construction and for their continued hard work. The new campus construction project is proceeding on schedule and is estimated for completion in the first quarter of the 2015-2016 academic term. The first phase of the new campus will be built on an area of 22,270 sq. m. with a capacity to serve up to 1,500 students. The new premises will be equipped with a range of facilities including computer and language labs, rooms for debates, seminars and case studies, a library and breakout and study areas and conference room.
