On March 22nd, 2017, the University of Dubai (UD) students attended the first day of 6th International Government Communication Forum (IGCF 2017), which is being held under the patronage of His Highness Dr. Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, at Expo Centre Sharjah. Students witnessed a panel conducted by former US Vice – President Al Gore tackling the topic of ìClimate ChangeÖare there real solutions?î followed by two sessions on ìThe Public and Private Sectors: Real Partnership towards Sustainable Developmentî and the ìConcepts of Microcredit and Microfinance.î The later was delivered by Muhammad Yunus, distinguished Nobel Peace Prize winner for founding the Grameen Bank.
