March 7, 2016, Dubai: University of Dubai launched the ìFuture CEOî program during a Dinner Event at its new campus at Academic City. Dr. Eesa Al Bastaki who welcomed more than 100 attendees including CEOs, presidents and managers talked about the relationship between CEOs and leadership. He praised the role of UAE leaders in forming a unique leadership style that many people around the world are following as one of the best style to boost innovation, progress and prosperity. A video speech by Ms. Esme Alfred, Global Manager of CEO Institute in Australia was played during the event. Ms. Alfred congratulated UD on launching the program and promised full cooperation to graduate best Future CEOs in UAE. Mr. Fahem Al Nuaimi, CEO of Ankabut, UAE Advance Network for Research and Education in Abu Dhabi, was the Keynote Speaker during the event. He focused during his speech on the effective role of CEOs in UAE and talked about the need of developed and trained CEO in the country. Mr.Al Nuaimi gave Ankabout as an example of a successful project that was envision by Emirati leaders in IT industry. He recited motivational stories about Sheikh Zaid bin Nahyan and Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid about leaderships and citizenship describing many UAE leaders as best CEOs. Mr. Ala Mikdadi, the first certified Future CEO in UAE talked in details about the program and explained how this unique certificate can help managers widen their professional and employment opportunities. University of Dubai and The CEO Institute, an Australian based institute, signed recently an MOU to provide the Future CEO program and certify eligible candidates. The certification course designed for future business leaders. It equips next-generation leaders with the skills, knowledge and contacts they need to confront problems and manage growth. The Future CEO program is a unique development forum for executives on a leadership journey. Based on a blended learning model, the program provides a mix of facilitated and experiential learning, which enables members to enhance their existing management and leadership skills to fast track their career potential.
